Attendance/Absenteeism/Tardiness

Prospective employers are as much concerned with a student’s
attendance as they are with their academic record. Students must
attend school on a regular basis. If a student does not attend
during regular scheduled hours, does not make arrangements to
make up the class and does not have excused absence, it shall be
considered an unexcused absence and recorded as such. If a
student acquires three (3) tardy/leave early days this would be
considered as one (1) day of absenteeism. A daily report is
accurately kept of attendance and tardiness, if the student has
excessive absences the student could; (1) be dismissed or (2) be
delayed in graduation until the student makes up the credit hours
short due to excessive absenteeism.

A leave of absence may be granted in the discretion of the
school director and must specify a definition date of return. Upon
return, the student will be re-admitted to the proper class and will
not be charged for the period of absence.
